We meet every second Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm at Church Lawford Village Hall, pictured (N.B. there is no meeting in August). Members of the public and press are welcome to attend.
N.B. There is an extra-ordinary meeting of the Parish Council on September 25th at 7.30 pm in the Village Hall about the Planning Application for the Proposed Pig Fattening Building on land off the A428, Church Lawford. The agenda is on the next page of this website.
Our job is to represent the interests of the parish and have a variety of powers and duties, all of which impact directly on the community. We are responsible for:
The upkeep and provision of public spaces in the parish e.g. allotments and recreation grounds
Scrutiny of planning applications
Community buildings e.g. the bus shelters
Rights of way
Local entertainment and the arts
We are subject to annual external audits.
